To pay proper attention to the plants nobody needs a green thumb – in fact, plants and flowers don’t demand much at all. With just fulfilling the basic needs such as lighting, watering, and temperature, your plant will be a great source of pleasure for you for many months to come.

Proper Lights:
Light is a major factor in the process of photosynthesis and we must not forget that plants make their food through this process. So Place the plant according to their proper light need.

It is wise to allow your plants to acclimatize first when you bring them home, by putting them in proper shade, and then gradually bringing them into their suitable lighting. It is best to plant flowers on an overcast day.

Fertilizing:
One should fertilize the plants once in fourteen days. Fertilizers containing a balanced amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (N: P: K) must be used. These are the three elements most essential for the proper growth of all plants. Some flowers and plants need a specific type of fertilizers while others can use the all plant food variety. It is better to have some knowledge about the fertilizer that is to be used for your plants from a florist.
